Golden Jubilee Square of Independence
Details
The Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh Independence is an annual plan announced by the Government of Bangladesh to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence from Pakistan through the nine-month armed liberation war from 26 March to 16 December 1971. The government has announced to observe the Golden Jubilee of Independence from 26 March 2021 to 16 December 2021. After crossing the path of exploitation and deprivation, the war-torn country started its journey with the title of 'bottomless basket'; That Bangladesh has completed 50 years by setting the world on the shelf with the speed of development.
As part of this, on 19 June 2021, Bangladesh's Golden Jubilee Square was added to the newly built DC Tourism Park at Thakurgaon. This square was built in the planning and implementation of the district administration. It was designed by Unity Design and Construction.
The design of the Independence Golden Jubilee Square represents three eras in an equilateral triangle. Here, pre-independence period, post-independence period and current entry into developing countries are meant. Through which the completion of 50 years of independence is kept memorable.
